It surprised me that Samsung has also joined the Laptop market and are now offering powerful laptops but at very competitive prices. They have far cheaper laptops compared to the big brands like HP, Sony Viao, Lenovo and Toshiba. This particular model, the Samsung R430 sports a Core2Duo mobile processor T6600, 4GB RAM, 320GB Hard disk size and has a 14″ LED high-definition widescreen display that has 1366 x 768 resolution. This is pretty good considering the price is only $629.99.

For the price of $629.99, (pricing taken from BestBuy), it’s not bad. I think the advantage of the widescreen (1366 x 768) is enough for me to use this baby. And add the 14 inch size of the laptop, then you have a portable and lightweight device right here.
